The Fourth of July

Our first full day at the beach AND the Fourth made for a lot of fun.

Beautiful day, beautiful people!

That face! Maybe he'd just seen Bo attempt the boogie board?

Later on Bo said he didn't want to try again
because Uncle Worth let go of his hand!

The result of Banks' first face plant in the sand.

Snack time with Bo and Emma.
Learning to love the beach.

The Berrymans

Kennedy is not concerned; she's lovin' her beach nap.

The Bowers

It's never too dark to be cool.

Sweet Emma, always looking out for others.

All cleaned up and decked out in red, white, and blue.
Siblings, cousins, and second cousins making memories.

Bo and Mack continued to have important discussions.
At least that's what it looked like.

Ellie is precious and so tolerant of her wild cousin and little brother.

Bo and Kinnick start a pillow fight. How do they even know about that?

The pillow fight turns into a pile-on.
Not sure but I think that's poor Emma on the bottom of the heap.

...and the adults carry on like all is calm.

Kinnick and Bo

Banks isn't sure about this.

Our two oldest grandchildren snuggling with our youngest.

Time for fireworks!

Last year she didn't like the noise.
This year she was ready to scope out the fireworks
with Kinnick's binoculars.

Little crab is ready!

Our gang.

Bo kept his hands like this even when there were no fireworks.
Despite his objection to the loud noises, he wanted to stay until the end.
