Before and After: Dining Chairs

These English chairs were a great buy at a St. Simons antique store but saggy webbing made them kinda uncomfortable.

Each chair is numbered and the seats fitted for that specific chair.  In other words, the dimensions for each varies just a bit.

So I cut and filed until each seat was a perfect fit for its chair.

Each seat was fitted with dense foam and covered with muslin.

The arm chairs have a colorful fabric, so I wanted these to remain neutral.  Enter the DIYer's go-to fabric: painter's drop cloth.
This frugal makeover is done!
