Game Day: UGA 44 - LSU 41

It was a Game Day Miracle! Our entire crew made it to the tailgate and we even managed to get everyone lined up for a photo!

It was a beautiful day spent with family, friends, and a BIG WIN!

Game Day Eve

Mack and Bo were not too impressed when they met each other for the first time Friday but we're all pretty sure that in a few years they will be double trouble. Ellie and Emma have their roles as big sister and older cousin down pat, so it should be interesting...

What's in a name?

The little fella who was born a month ago today has some big shoes to fill. Henry Hammack Bowers was named after Ashley's great-great-grandfather, Henry Tift, and E.W.'s beloved granddaddy, Joe Hammack. We're all looking forward to watching him grow into those shoes.

Five!

Sad to be missing this sweetie's fifth birthday; so glad her mama put this picture on facebook this morning for me to 'steal'. Happy birthday to the precious child who made grandparents out of us.

You can read about her party HERE.

In the Hunt

Not only were they in the hunt, they won their flight and came in fourth overall!

I been wishin' about a brudder. Hey, baby brudder.

Three weeks ago, Worth took this video when the girls came in to meet their brother, (it's on their blog, too).

I adore Ellie's "aww" and she's precious saying she was wishing about a brother and then telling him hello. Emma is so skeptical; check out her eyes as she looks back and forth between Ashley's belly and Mack!

If it looks familiar, go back and compare this with Ellie meeting Emma for the first time. At two, she wasn't easily impressed, either.

One Man's Trash...

Bo was not a fan when he was a newborn, so last weekend Kate sent the used-only-one-time-for-five-minutes Rock n Play home with me. I took it to Mack today and so far he seems pretty happy with it. Let's hope it stays that way!
This sweet boy will be three weeks old tomorrow and his sisters are still enchanted by him. The rest of us are, too.

Mack seems content in his hand-me-down from cousin Bo.

Game Day

After being at mama and daddy's all week, I headed to the Classic City to meet E.W. at Kate and Jay's. UGA vs SC was the first home game and a big one, especially after last Saturday! It was Bo's first tailgate and he was a champ (and I just realized he was in every single picture I took; center of attention much?).

Both Jay and E.W. have banners for their tents this year, courtesy of Worth last Christmas!

Bo looks a little concerned that maybe
the grandmothers don't know what they're doing.

Jay and Kate explain how to cheer for the Dawgs

"Are they nuts or what?"

Meanwhile, back at home, 17 day old Mack
is worried about how the Dawgs will play.

When it was game time, Patsy took Bo home for a nap and the rest of us headed for the stadium. It was a great game, especially because:

Game Day

We're home from a wonderful weekend with the Berrymans, all except for the lose-to-Clemson part. The Dawgs were a big disappointment. Bo was not; he was precious. Of course.

Come on, E.W., give me one of those wings!

E.W. and Big Jim are on the deck, but I think I'll just stay in here
where it's cool and the women love me.

Ready!
