Kate and Jay arrived Friday for the post-Thanksgiving festivities.  After the Dawgs buzzed the yellow jackets, it was time to get The Tree done.

Yes, it took Emmett and Jay on the floor,

and me checking the lean factor!

The angel Worth bought for Kate about
25 years ago makes her annual appearance.

Full of sentimental ornaments, this year's tree is up!

Miss Scarlett participated in a supervisory capacity.

Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving!  E.W. and I rounded up Sa and Gramps and headed down to Dr. & Mrs. Dawg's for the turkey and trimmings.  We missed being with my folks and the Berrymans, but spending time with our very own turkeys grandchildren was pretty wonderful. 

Next up: tomorrow's arrival of the Berrymans and also The Tree!
