George and Dena will be getting hitched this fall; last night we were invited to celebrate with friends and family! We missed the ones not there but tried to have enough fun for the whole group. :)

Little Girl on the Fourth of July
Once before, I gave a photograph to my friend, who is an artist. Last week I gave her another photo because it reminded me of her work; it was of Ellie, taken by Kate. Not only did my amazing friend paint a watercolor right away, she gave* it to me! I am honored. Thanks, Mary Ann! (You can see more of her work HERE.)
*She offered it as barter for help with technology...I am SO getting the best end of that trade, so I consider it a gift!
